International Collaboration
With a focus on academic frontiers and open engagement, the department actively promotes internationalization through diverse and dynamic global partnerships. It has successfully hosted four sessions of the Sino-European School on Atmospheric Chemistry, an innovative program that received the First Prize in the Shanghai Municipal Teaching Achievement Awards.
International joint education programs have been steadily expanded. Over the past five years, faculty and students have conducted 256 outbound visits to 36 countries and regions, while the department has welcomed 64 visiting scholars from 20 countries. These exchanges—spanning academic collaboration, joint research, and talent development—have significantly deepened the department’s global engagement.
