B.S., 1993.9-1997.7, Department of Geochemistry, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, P.R. China.
Title of thesis: Mineralizing mechanisms of Anqing Copper Mine.

Scientific Research Experience:
Doctoral period
With the help of my supervisors, I have independently accomplished all the doctoral work, including thesis design, sampling, experiment, instrument analysis, data processing and paper writing. And under strict quality assurance and quality control, I established the experimental methods for low-concentration PAHs and PCBs in the atmosphere.
Master period
Under the help of my supervisors, I accomplished the experimental methods for separation of calcite and dolomite in loess and sedimentary rocks, which were well used in loess and paleosol samples.
With the help of some other peoples, using the acid-dissolving method mentioned above, I separated the loess and paleosol sample by myself into two sections, respectively, one is secondary carbonate (calcite), the other is silicate and original carbonate (dolomite), and then measured the 87Sr/86Sr ratios of these two sections through a series of chemical and instrumental methods.
Collegial period
Together with my classmate, I satisfactorily accomplish the field practice and sampling for graduate thesis. Consequently, I independently completed thesis design and execution through microscope observation, experiment and instrument analysis.

Scientific Research Ability:
With the experience of master and doctoral period, I have had inquisitive and analytical mind and the ability to smooth over difficulties, which plus enthusiasms, persistence and the willingness to work hard have make me acceptable for the job of organizing, mediating and practicing medium- and small-scale scientific projects.
The basic aerodynamic theories, kinds of air pollutants and air quality research and sampling methods have been skillfully familiar and have been successfully applied in indoor and outdoor air pollution research.
The conventional instruments for organic compounds detection, the Gas Chromatography (may connected with FID、ECD、AED、NPD et al.), Liquid Chromatography (LC), and GC-MS, for instance, have been familiarly mastered and operated. The principles and operation methods of conventional instruments for inorganic compounds detection, ICP-MS, AAS (atomic absorption spectrum), STIMS (surface thermoionic isotopic mass spectrum), for example, are familiar with me.

Scientific Research interest;
(1) The fate of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in environments, especially in air
(2) Urban photochemical smog
(3) Indoor air quality (IAQ)
